The Beginner Photography classes are designed for the beginner, amateur, or hobbyist photographer wanting to learn how to take more creative control of their camera. We dump the intimidating jargon and give you practical, real-world instruction you can use.
All ages are welcome to attend. However, the majority of our students are adults. While we have had students as young as 11 years old participate without issue, it all comes down to your child. As long as they understand that learning photography has a technical component to it, they should be fine.
Yes, of course! Gift certificates are available for our in-person classes or personal photography instruction. To provide the most flexibility, you can specify the exact amount you would like to gift.
Head over to our Gift Certificate page to learn more… and as always, please contact us at (614) 427-1671 should you have questions.
We understand that not everyone will have all consecutive class days or evenings available, and that’s why we allow you to jump in on another class to ensure you are covered. Just let us know of your scheduling conflict, and we’ll make sure you have a seat.
We’re big believers in getting what you pay for and stand firmly behind our classes—that’s why we have a “100% ‘UNTIL IT CLICKS’ PROMISE.” Learning digital photography and complicated cameras can be challenging, so anytime you feel the need for a refresher class, whether, in part or whole, you are welcome to sit in on the same class FOR FREE!
The qualifications for the Beginner Photography ONE class are zip… nada… zilch! It is designed for the beginner, so you only need to have a desire to learn and have fun! Beginner Photography TWO is all about composition. This class assumes you know the basics of photography, but any skill level can attend. Give us a call at (614) 427-1671 if you’re unsure.
Our Beginner Photography classes are designed for DSLR or Mirrorless camera systems that can manually adjust exposure settings (ISO, aperture, and shutter speed.)
