If you are brand new to photography or have been stuck in Auto this whole time, then Beginner Photography ONE is the way to go. Who should take these classes?
The Beginner Photography classes are designed for the beginner, amateur, or hobbyist photographer wanting to take advantage of everything their digital camera has to offer. We dump the intimidating jargon and give you the practical, real-world instruction you need to capture and record your digital life.
Is there an age limit?
All ages are welcome to attend. However, the majority of our students are adults. While we have had students as young as 11 years old participate without issue, it all comes down to your child. As long as they understand that learning photography has a technical component to it, they should be fine.
Head over to our Gift Certificate page to learn more… and as always, please contact us at (614) 427-1671 should you have any questions.
What if I can’t commit to the weekly classes?
We understand that not everyone will have all consecutive class days or evenings available, and that’s why we allow you to jump in on another class to ensure you are covered. Just let us know of your scheduling conflict, and we’ll make sure you have a seat.
What if I have difficulty with the material?
We’re big believers in getting what you pay for and stand firmly behind our classes – that’s why we have a “100% ‘UNTIL IT CLICKS’ PROMISE.” Learning digital photography and complicated cameras can be challenging, so anytime you feel the need for a refresher class, whether, in part or whole, you are welcome to sit in on the same class FOR FREE!
What qualifications do I need?
The qualifications for the Beginner Photography ONE class are zip… nada… zilch! It is designed for the beginner, so you only need to have a desire to learn and have fun! Beginner Photography TWO is all about composition and visual design. This class assumes you know the basics of photography, but any skill level can attend. Give us a call at (614) 427-1671 if you’re unsure.
What camera and/or equipment do I need?
Our Beginner Photography classes are designed for DSLR or Mirrorless camera systems that can manually adjust exposure settings (ISO, aperture, and shutter speed.) However, with Beginner Photography TWO being about composition and visual design, any type of camera will do, even smartphones. If you are unsure if your camera is suitable for the class, just give us a call at (614) 427-1671.
